Red or Black SBR Full Face or Ring Gasket

Made from Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR), these full face gaskets are recommended for use in low temperature applications for plumbing and water services applications. They have an operating temperature of -20°F to 170°F, a tensile strength of 400 psi, and an elongation of 150 percent. These gaskets can be supplied in a 1/8” or 1/16” thickness.

Non-Asbestos Ring or Full Face Gasket

Our asbestos-free gaskets are manufactured with a combination of synthetic fibers, including aramid, with NBR binder ASTM – D2000. They possess excellent fuel and oil resistance along with high tensile strength and good stress relaxation. These gaskets are available in a 1/8” or 1/16” thickness. Their recommended primary uses are for sealing against hot and cold oils, fuels, gases, and coolants with anti-freeze, hot water, and corrosion inhibitors. They are designed to function at a maximum temperature of 750°F, maximum pressure of 1,200 psi and possess a tensile strength of 2,250 psi and a maximum ignition loss of 30 percent.
