EGW Water & Plumbing is pleased to announce an improvement in our packaging of flange packs and MJ kits. Some of our customers have told us that our signature White Rhino boxes were not holding up adequately during shipping and in the field. Based on this feedback we are rolling out changes to our boxes and master cartons to dramatically improve their quality and durability. The new brown boxes will be printed with the White Rhino logo and made with paper that has been sourced using standards outlined in the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI).
These new boxes are made by hard working Americans in box plants, corrugators and paper mills here in the United States. By comparison, our former packaging was foreign produced and was made from 100% recycled materials which is not consistent and the fibers lose their strength and lack durability. Contrary to popular opinion, 100% recycled boxes are not always the best for our environment when you take into account the amount of energy for transportation of materials and the energy and material losses incurred during reclamation.
